Yea I like how it looks right now 100% but I'm always thinking and I know I can get the paintable bumper for 70 bucks add sensors to it for 100 and paint at 200 and I was in it 370 but still with the chrome one.

Just gets me with chrome and the wheels. That and last truck being so anti chrome has got the wheels turning.

Maybe you should find wheels that better fit the truck than making the truck fit the wheels.

yea but i just cant keep things the same for too long. i really am almost done exterior wise though.

have the front end i want and the 08 back end also, plus the new wheels so other than possibly newer mirrors or possible PTM the exterior is DONE. (newer style fender emblems are in the mail and T they have to go on to cover the alignment holes)

interior is done except steering wheel and the radio i got in the house ready to go in.

next up is suspension. have the two inner tie rods in the mail and thatll make all stuff under there new moog parts. then itll just get some shocks/brakes and rear block delete.

when all thats done then itll get more go fast

Why not leave the chrome alone and paint the plastics on the bumper the same color as the truck?

i thought about that and might take the plastics off the KR bumper im buying tonight but with paint on plastics and me using the truck etc the paint will chip to easy and itll be hard to match the metallic on plastic.

if only ford didnt change the color they used on KR 2 tone trucks to pale adobe in 08 it wouldnt be an issue

its just something that makes people want it more idk. but if you think about it to have it shaved properly would be expensive.

if i was going to go completely shaved gate i would just use a 99-07 one. just different styles and what people want more. i like it cuz its beefier than my old one.

97 up F150 uses the same gate. You could get a smoothed one!
