I wouldn't worry about the blow gun. You will just blow the oil out the other end. It has no moving parts.

I figured that but only put 2-3 drops in it anyway. I might just go ahead and buy another Kobalt and keep it oiled better this time. I'll get better Impact when I get a bigger air compressor in the future.

some air tools also have little grease fittings and should grease like once every 6 months or so depending on use. The book for my 2135TI says every 48hs or something. Well since it doesn't have a hr meter on it its just easier to do 6 months. There are speicil little grease guns for this but its just as easy to take them apart since they're so simple. Make sure to use air tool grease or what every that manufacturer says to use.

Update

I took apart the old non working kobalt impact wrench and cleaned it up on the inside of the old dirt, grim, etc. I put it back together and put a new piece of teflone tape in the fitting. Now it works again after a little TLC to it.
