SUV Advice

I think the acadia's are very nice, but I have been around quite a few of the new edges and explorers at work are pretty nice, but I am really impressed with the redesigned explorers. Loads of nice features, but the price tags are kinda high. I saw one that was loaded and was almost $50K

Those are the two I have suggested. She hasn't gone to look at anything yet. I guess I just need to take her.

I did suggest that to her, but I think it is a little to big for her liking.

She should at least drive one... They drive so nice you wouldn't know how big it was...

Just a little FYI, the Traverse is every single bit as big as a Tahoe. The Traverse is actually 3 inches longer than the GMT-900 Tahoes but the Tahoe is about a half inch wider. Marginally different. The Tahoe sits up higher than the Traverse but that can be a positive, especially if you're looking for a SUV in my opinion. Think about it.

We love our Acadia. The Traverse is the Chevy equivalent and the Enclave is the Buick sibling.

Plenty of room for what we need and the third row seat has room for adults as well as kids.

We looked at the Tahoe but for what we got on the Acadia being an SLT-2 the Tahoe equivalent was $4k more.

Go take one out for a test drive. The dealer here let us take the 08 home overnight. That was smart on their part because that is what convinced Susan she wanted it.

Seriously, it's a night and day difference after a tune.
