You can do a much cheaper upgrade. Not quite as good as the vette brakes but much better than what you have now, and using all stock parts. For the front, you can upgrade to the 05-06 truck brakes with the larger rotors. For the rear, get stock dual piston disk brakes from a 00-06 Suburban. For both, you just need to swap the rotors, calipers and pads, and the caliper brackets. You will need to gave at least 17in wheels to fit over the larger front brakes.
Cool. Good info ScottyBoy.

So the rear disc brakes on mine are single piston and the Burb's are double?
And when getting the parts I just get everything for the front as if it was an 05-06 Silvy and everything for the rear as if it was an 00-06 Burb.(obviously both 1/2 ton?) So the rear rotors for the Burb are different then mine I take it?
Also does it make a difference on the model or option package on either?
You know I ask because they need to know at the parts store if I have AC and a 5.3 (with the "T" code) to know if a valve stem will fit my truck.
