My son just spent two and a half hours under his truck cleaning it.

He got 48lbs of mud out from under it. I almost shit when I saw it all, he didn't even clean between the frame rails yet. :uhoh:

That's alot of mud

It is weeks old too. I nagged him daily to get under there and clean it.

He also decided that he is going to patch the one rust hole in the door and bedline the rockers. :dunno:

 Well, that's one way to let the truck rust out. And how the hell do you get 48lbs of mud stuck under the truck NOT counting between the rails?

Drove it to work, worked 12hrs, then home. Hopefully I won't be driving it much this week. I'm almost at 300mi on the tank and gonna need gas pretty soon. Payday is Friday though!

Tinted the headlights, the fog lights, the second pair of fog lights, the skid plate lights, the third brake light and the lights in my rear bumper. Now I just need to get some better tail lights and then tint away. I need a weekend to get the HID upgrade in the heads and fogs and wire everything to a central location for the other lights.

The rear bumper packs mud like nobodies business.

Its his money, he knows it will rust. All I can do is give advice, its up to him whether or not he takes it.

He plans to take it to a buddies farm and put it on a lift there and go to town on it soon.

Its got 191k and only has one rust spot that has gone all the way through. I hope he takes advantage of that and repairs it here shortly. :dunno:

Park it on a flat spot and run a sprinkler underneath the truck. It will soften all the mud up then it comes off pretty easy. :jester:
