It had the front right caliper seize last Saturday ( 7/30/11 ) so I just got done making a brake parts order. $202 for new Motorcraft front calipers, and $293 to Summit Racing for Power Slot slotted rotors and Hawk LTS pads. F U truck :gunguy:.

. But at least Summit Racing met Rock Auto.coms price of $98 per rotor vs their advertized $137 per rotor. Love Summit! But thats the front end alone, later on i'll do the rear. So much for getting exhaust done next week. Prior to this happening I had bought the Pinnacle Contours Leather Treatment kit for it then the bastard costs me nearly $500 in brakes. Oh well it happens.

You really should order the other caliper also Darren. You should do them in pairs cuz who knows when the otherone will seize up. Could be next week.

..?

Go back and re-read my posting.
$202 for new Motorcraft front calipers,

You think I bought ONE $202 caliper? :jester:

I learned that with my old truck. That happened to both fronts, first time was 2010 at 82k miles, front left. Second time was 2 days before I traded in May 2011. Thought I avoided that problem, well, looks like I didn't. :nonod:
