Why buy new when you can restore?
Just found this on eBay.
Whipple S/C complete minus the electronics. $1160 is a very good price on this. Others I've seen on Craig's List were $1500-2000. I saw one on another forum go for $1300 and it didn't have nearly as much as this one. Another one on eBay went for $1k, was really dirty and was missing the electronics along with a lot of the smaller nuts/bolts.
I'd like to get one now to use later in my eventual rebuild. The reason being that these are no longer made (and haven't been for years) and I don't want to be scrambling searching for one down the road. Although, if I get another couple of parts, maybe it can go in sooner.
What do you guys think?
