i actually took it off, good advice. it is just the plate now.

well long story less long, i had a gauge that i used on the truck and bike. trucks runs 65-70 psi the bike 40-42. i checked before i left red bluff last week and it said 40. rode to vegas, came back a week later. on that trip, i noticed abnormal tire wear. took it to the local bike shop to get the tire replaced and he said it looks like it had been underinflated. i took out my gauge and showed him 40 psi.. he said hmmm, took his out (zing!!!) and bam, 19 psi.. i was like wtf... tested mine on another bike, said 40 psi.. his, 38.. needless to say, i threw that gauge in the trash as i left.

tire was worn anyway but this trip killed it. i really like the metzeler that replaced the dunlop... 202$ installed
