My brake lights on my 2004 Ford Explorer will not shut off. They have done this before but they went off. I washed my hair and went back out to check on the lights and they were still on.

What should I do? :dunno:

Thanks!!!

Pull the fuse for them and deal with it in the morning.

The brake light switch under the dash might need adjusted, or replaced.
I agree with Daddy for tonight if pumping the pedal, or lifting it doesn't work.

So the aaa lady jumped my truck and tried to sell me a battery but my dad wouldn't have it. She told me I had very few ccc's on the battery. But my dad told me to call my mechanic and take it to him.

So hopeful they can fix it before they close today. I need my suv all this weekend since I'm working all this weekend.

Thanks for the help all.
