PROGRESS... although it never seems like progress at this stage with a couple of sore fingers and some blood loss. The engine is really nice and sanitary inside. Not a spec of sludge and the timing belt is dated 03/11

Got all of the exhaust studs out! WOO HOO. cooling and air intake all out. A little work on the intake side and puling the timing belt and the head will be off...

It'd not bad. The previous owner was apparently a maintenance nut too... engine is clean inside and all of the belts are new. Plug wires too! I'll be replacing the timong belt anyway along with the water pump just for maintenance.

I'll have the engine compartment all squeaky clean when I am done.
