My old POS Michelin jack has seen better days and has begun to leak so it was time upgrade!

I picked up an OTC 2-ton / Stand combo.

  • Includes 2-ton aluminum jack weighing 43 lbs and a pair of aluminum 2-ton jack stands weighing 11 lbs for the pair
  • Jack features dual pump pistons and reaches maximum height of 18 inch with only 5 pumps
  • Jack has a Low profile 3-1/2 inch making it perfect for ground hugging high performance cars
  • Jack has removable rubber saddle pad that protects vehicle and prevents slipping
  • Jack stands have a minimum height of 10-1/4 inches and a maximum height of 15-1/4 inches

You sure that will work on the Tahoe? I have a similar one made by Larin and it doesn't quite get the Burban off the ground. I think it only goes up to 16 inches high. And seated on the frame and fully jacked up, the tire is still touching the ground. It works GREAT on the wifes car though.
I have a Goodyear Racing jack that goes up to 19 and 3/4 inches high. Its works ok.

I've never heard of OTC but that looks like a pretty fine jack.

They have a crap load of cool stuff on their website and I recognize some of their other brands. http://www.otctools.com/
