NONE of that is the result of losing the sway bar.

NONE.

the fastest went from running 12.3 to 11.9 because of weight ruduction. We would meet at hooters before heading to the track and he wouldnt eat because he would weigh more. true story.

Complete and total horseshit. Gaining 4 tenths takes pretty serious changes.

Losing the sway bar MIGHT be measured in the thousandths of a second - maybe.

.001 MIGHT be believable.

Unless the sway bar weighs 500lbs, there's no way in hell that gain is from that :D

They disconnect them all the time on ZR2 S-series trucks for all the rock work. :dunno:

No issues so far...

Depends on your vehicle, I suppose, but your a-arms maximum travel shouldn't be pulling your axle out...

Yeah i used to disconnect it on my explorer as well. It's not an issue of pulling the axle out, its a matter of putting torque through a CV axle at such an extreme angle. Hence i'm 50/50.

My Jeep has a locker in the front axle, so i've been good with keeping the sway bar connected up front since I really don't need that tire on the ground, the other one will still get power.

Man, maybe I should drop a healthy deuce before I get in the truck next time. I could probably make it to the end of my road (~1/4 mile) in 10 seconds flat. :brain:
