I would say stay away from the 04... so it would be between the #1 and #3... and #3 wins hands down if you have the finances to get it..

You might say you don't need all the luxuries of moonroom, console shifter, sliding rear window... But it sure it nice

I would check to see if you can get any kind of maintence records for the 06's to see if plugs or cam phasers have been changed..

I'm going to try and go to the dealership tomorrow with mom and dad. Dad's only concern is the mileage, he wants me to stay around 100k so #3 would be the one he'd be ok with.

Yeah.. All those trucks are due for plug change.. so keep in mind that could cost you $500 and up... If you decide to get that.. maybe you can get them to throw a plug change in for fre

I can't remember exactly but isn't a plug change on those trucks a PITA?

Yeah... they are a major PITA if they haven't been taken care of it.. The carbon builds up on the 2 peice plugs and then when you try and take them out it breaks the plugs.. LOTS of people have changed it themselves, but you will probably need a special tool that runs about $75-100

From what I hear.. Most places charge around $350-$500 then anywhere from $50-$100 per broken plug..

So it can get costly..

#3 is a nice truck, but it is screaming for different tires, and is pretty high on price for what it is.

For the money, I think I would go for #1 unless you really have a reason to get a crew cab.
