Well I took it to the dealership and go figure it wouldn't do it. They tried to pull codes and got nothing. So they are keeping it for the weekend and going to try to figure out what is going on.

At least there is something that you can blame on your mother-in-law.

Called the dealership this morning to see if they found anything all weekend, they haven't. I asked the guy if they checked the fuel pump he said there was no way to check. I'm supposed to call back around lunch time.

Well it is a chevy dealer. if they dont find anything I'll have my buddy who is a mechanic take a look.

Well that might be the reason.

They still should be able to locate a problem, most vehicles are the same these days. I think part of it is they don't want to fix it because it's coming out of their pockets.

Didn't you say it worked fine for you, but only acted up for your MIL?

Yes. And I would think the same thing, except for the one time she started it, put the truck in reverse, started backing up and then it shut off. Just seems weird to me.
