Need advice on my truck search....

You are only interested in full sizes right?

I really would rather a full sized truck, I just don't feel comfortable in a ranger/s10 platform. I am 6'2" and I just don't feel like I have enough leg room in a smaller truck.

I understand That you are not brand bashing. I know these trucks are not power houses but I think they get a bad wrap. I have a little over 120K on my 5.4L and it has never left me stranded. The only complaint I have is the cats are plugged and ssince they have 4 of the mother fwonkers they are pricey to change.

I think if that truck were not lifted and/or modified it would not be a bad route to go. (for less money of course)

My brother has an '01 F150 and he just had the 4 cats removed and replaced with 2 high flow Magnaflow cats. No CEL and they were $60-80 (I forget exactly how much) each.

Ive had a regular cab Ranger, 2 regular cab S10's and an S10 Blazer. I fit fine in them. Im 6'3" and was around 250#'s when I owned them (215#'s now) I do have more room in my F150 though but thats to be expected.

It does have the 5.4L in it. Guy said it has never been offroad, his daughter drives it and she wants something different. Should I be concerned with the mileage?

Just like everyone on Craigslist says "Its all highway miles." I'd steer away from this one.

Never been offroad and babied its whole life. That's why it's lifted with a Hypertech programmer and dual exhaust.

I hear ya. I am 6'3".i have had a couple rangers. They were great trucks but def a little in the tight department. I was just curious.

Especially when you're rollin around with the wife.

That's what the sliding rear window is for.

Well we upgraded to the F150 and now there are no space issues at all. The focus does get a little tight though.
