+1 for tying the wheel with the seatbelt. I wouldn't wanna tow across country with it like that but a short distance will be fine.

Call EMS ahead of time, just to be safe though.

The seatbelt will work. You could also undo the shift linkage and shift it into neutral without unlocking the column. But if you said its too muddy to get under it to undo the driveshaft, then you might not wanna try to undo the linkage. :dunno:

I like this idea better, but I wouldn't do bumer to bumper, I would grab a tow strap and hook frame to frame and give it hell! :thumbs:

Like said before just use the seat belt. When tow trucks bring dead big rigs in thats what they do. If it will work for a peterbilt it will work for a little car.

thats what we do it works good, or you can use some rope around the steering wheel and then run the rest outside of the door and close it on it and that will hold it too
