Alright guys I'm getting ready to buy my new exhaust system abd was wondering what everyone was getting in the terms of price ranges. The shop in my area quoted me $400 installed for true duals with an h pipe, magnaflow/flowmaster muffler, and chrome tips coming out any way I want. What do ya think?

All depends on what you want to have done, and what mufflers and parts you want to run..

I think I spent about $350 on parts and about $400 on install..

You will need to find out how they bend the pipes..

i paid 325 for all my parts from peddleperformance and still cost me 350 to install so 675 for true dual all magnaflow parts including cats. my old tacoma for muffler back flows was 450 installed so i think it's a fair deal just make sure they use stainless steel

Sounds pretty good. I got my parts for $170 (Wholesale prices) plus $350 to install.

The biggest factor in install costs is the area you live in. There's a shop near me that did my complete install for only $160 in labor. Jeff even drove up here to have his done.

Depending on the shop you go to, it is usually cheapest to buy your parts separate (mufflers, crossover, cats, etc) and have the shop do the install. The $160 that my shop charged was for install of new pipe all the way through, as well.

I spent $155 on cats and mufflers, and then $100 a side to have it done in ss, including labor. So $355 for all of it. Depends on the shop. Most definitely do not buy your parts at the shop, its much cheaper to buy off summit or ebay or whatever.
