The Miata is cool, my dad always liked it, but I never wanted one so badly until I saw some pictures of a diesel-powered one.

Come on man, since I was 14 I want a diesel Nissan 350Z. At least for me it makes sense to have a diesel in a Miata. I just don't remember if that one was the same 2.2L used in the Ranger or the updated OHC version of it, quite underpowered but had some good gear ratios and then was still reported to be funny to ride.
