haha thanks guys. i have a question though. i was taking it on a test drive tonight after i finished the steering and when i put on brakes it made a horrible shudder and then after i turned into my driveway it started making a loud ticking noise on what seemed like every revolution of the driveshaft. sounds like it may be a u joint.

can just like one missing needle bearing in the u joint make it go bad that quick? i think one may have fell out of one of the caps when i put the extended slip yoke on.

It doesn't take long when one is missing. They'll move around and start breaking.

well i only drove about 2 miles if that on it before it started ticking. i think that may be it though because it sounds like its right under me where the slip yoke is. great i love changing u-joints

well i changed out the u joint then went for a drive. it was doing the same thing immediately. i put the truck in neutral and got out to roll it forward and backward. i got to the front driver said tire and realized what the horrible shuttering noise was. the tire was being held on by one lug nut :uhoh:. well i ordered five wheel studs and lug nuts and they're coming today. lol
