I use BP, but only because it's the only station within 15 miles of my house.

Apparently Ford makes a gas cap that forces you to use BP gas.Maybe I missed something... whats up?

I use BP cuz its the cheapest out here. My truck runs the same and gives me the same milage with the Arco (BP) gas than if I fill up with 76 or Shell. Plus Arco is more consistent in milage than some of the others. Valero and Chevron are a hit or miss on milage so I avoid them. Plus I have an Arco Discover debit card that eliminates the .45 cent fee to use it and it gives me points. Some of the other gas stations charge $1 to use a credit card or check card, check your bank statements next time you fill up, I thought it was BS till it happened to us.

I don't normally use BP... Usually stick with Phillips 66 and Marathon.

You guys read the wrong message, all they're trying to say is to b e w a r e."Ford Recommends BP"
In other words, Ford recommends Be Prudent, while filling up.
Prudent defined:
1. The quality or fact of being prudent.
2. Caution with regard to practical matters; discretion.
3. Regard for one's own interests.
4. Provident care in the management of resources; economy; frugality.
