Sounds like fuel.

I'd start with the fuel filter first, it's the cheapest place to start.

As Daddy said, filter first. Check fuel pressure regulator for presence of fuel in vacuum line. Then take fuel pressure reading too.

What year GM engine?

1990 silverado. i changed the fuel filter the other day and it made no difference. the throttle body is getting gas but it doesn't seem to be a lot it's just trickle down into the TBI. i bought the fuel pump and going to check the pressure and if it's low or none change it. i have a guy coming next sat and if it runs good it's finally gone

anything i need in particular to check it with? i know the hose going to it is very small i dont know how i can get a reading on it for pressure
