Windshield Replacement.

In the event you have the need to replace your windshield, don't do it the cheap way. Trying to save a 100 dollars can put your health even your life in danger.

Dang that's crazy.. wouldn't have guessed the windshield doesn't that much in an accident

I've had several windshields replaced in the pickup. Can't say if they were/ is installed properly, but not going to lose sleep over it.

I believe the "wearing gloves" and using primer.

Fast forward to 5:30 for what they found when they watched some guys put in a windshield.

I had one installed on my first S10 (was cracked when bought). They never sprayed on a primer, no gloves, and used that black glue.

If the installer uses the proper urethane compound in a tube to install the glass, it's near impossible to remove. A couple of fingerprints will not compromise the bond (although a clean glass and some gloves should be used). I've been in the car biz for many many years and I've never seen an installer use butyl tape to install a windshield.

These shows always dig up the worst of the worst and then try to convince us it's the norm. That's how they sell commercials.
