Looking for mirror alternatives!

I ran into this mod while searching for tires (of all things).

The guy that originally posted the article (88GMCtruck) has done numerous threads on mods for GMT400's. He's got another one that adds steering wheel mounted controls for the radio for both 400's and 800's. He's also got a cool setup of 8 HID's.

The OP installed power/heated/signal mirrors for $250. I found power/signal ones, but they are $265 (which seems totally backwards). If I were to do this, I'd like the ones with signals.

Oddly enough, I like them on the red truck but not on the green truck.

While I like the functionality of towing mirrors, I don't think these would match the "character" of your truck. I would have to say pass.

If you need them for function, then I say go for it. To me they look like doodoo on both trucks.

Yeah I dig them on the red truck but not really on the green truck. I absolutely love mine though, I never tow either. They just make everyday driving so much nicer, you can see everything.

I would not add them for looks... for towing maybe? They aren't the most attractive things.
