Your tailgate has holes in it under the cap. BIG holes.

i know that some do, but my truck just has a flat cap on it not the "wing" style, the GMT-900 has holes, and some of the GMT-800s with the wing have bolt holes in it, so im not sure whats under there, if anything if i take it off and if there are holes ill put a Wade TG protector on right away, we have a ton of them at the store
Pull it up. The holes are all there. They only made one tailgate.

yea, thats right, well its kinda scratched up so if it bothers me enough ill get a new OEM one

Nice  the Line-X in my Sierra is probably the 2nd best thing I did to it (behind the Blackbear Tune).

yea plastic bed liners are cheap that is why everybody gets them but if you pull it up it is basically ruining the truck bed

and i might be getting a blackbear tune as well i emailed them a few questions a couple days ago... just waiting for a response

Just thought you'd wanna know. The holes are not as big as the GMT900 gate but they are pretty big.

with as many as ive ripped off before ( every chevy/gmc cap we sell needs them to come off except the leer 100xq and we do almost 200-225 a year) i havent done a GMT-800 in a long time, i just remember 4 bolt holes and the GMT-900's having huge holes at the very top
