Doing a little buffing on the 85

Well this truck is all original, no rusted out spots and very little surface rust....but the paint is faded.

So I figured what could it hurt to get some compound and do a little buffing. Coming out good so far.....I'm ready to see it done! That'll fool people a while until I can get a new paintjob on this cherry. I guess I'll finish with some wax to keep it like this for a short while.

Here's a good before pic of the truck. This pic really shows how dull it actually is. Clear coat is long gone :lol: That way we can see the difference after I'm done!

Nice.

Red will always come back, because of the high pigmentation in the paint. you'll just have to stay on top of it.
