I'm thinking about selling the Alpine I have now and put that money towards the new one. I figure if I can get $100 I'll be happy

You guys buying stereos should think about giving Travis a shout and see what kind of offer he can make you. He is a sponsor you know.:tmc:

You should have no problem selling an Alpine. It seems like everyone sees the name and goes "sweet, Alpine!" which is why I went Kenwood. I didn't want to follow the rest of the group...or pay Alpine prices for speakers and a sub.

I currently have a Kenwood KDC-X491. It has a USB on the front and Aux input on the back. I love the radio and it has way more buttons on it than these new units do, but if WI ever passes a law requiring a hands free device for driving and talking on a cell phone, I don't want to be up a creak without a paddle.

I'll check out his site right now!

J-rod, he doesn't have either the KDC-X794 or the 994 on his site. :dunno: He doesn't have much in the Excelon line. I only saw the sub that I have and that's it.

Send him a pm and ask, he had said that his site wasn't very current and he could get a lot of stuff. Hell it can't hurt to ask him, he's a one man show and has a family to feed just like the rest of us. He's not one of these uber large box stores with no personal service.
