Honestly, if that was my truck

I'd stick a fork in it and call it done :dunno:
Why not do some under the hood mods, like I did? Painted pieces plus maybe some gofast mods.... that black plastic painted dark green next to some shiny headers would look killer
I agree 100%

I really wasn't planning on any go fast mods for this truck at all. But if i bought my own paint gun and shit, i could do my own colormatching and practice with the plastics under the hood. I guess some headers and a cam would be nice.....hmmmmmm
I've already got all of your money spent. Grab a custom spec'd cam from Pat G like Dan did. $400. Get a Circle D 3000 stall $375. and Pick up the same OBX headers off of Ebay that dan did. $375ish. BAM! That thing would scoot really good.

IMO the Exterior is done. Its time to move to the Interior or under hood.
I'll just leave these here

I just dont know about doing performance mods to this truck. Maybe Dan will chime in and convince me  But i mean, would it be worth it to mod the 5.3 or just go big and do the 6 oh swap. Something to think about.

Nick, thanks for the pics it looks good. Did you do all the work yourself then?

I did All the disassembly and prep for paint. Had a buddy paint.

I'm like you, looks are more important to me than going fast. If I tried to really start modding my truck for real power, I'd have to replace the whole damn drivetrain

It all depends on how much power you want to get. Dan is going for pretty flippin fast. If you wanted something a bit faster than stock, the 5.3 is a great motor to mod.
Find out how much Dan has in his ride. I would think at least 5k in everything. Maybe that's a bit much but between the trans $2.5K plus I think around $2k just in the 6.0 then add up the cam, headers, stall and other odds and ends.

Really? You did all that to your truck yet the horribly ripped seat remains?

Kyle, I say put it towards your loan.
