If it was brake fluid and leaking that much you should be down in your reservoir.

What does it smell like?

That's why im so perplexed

Haven't smelled it yet. I'm waiting for it to thaw to see how it looks/feels.

Do you have any dogs in the area that might have pissed right there? That's just so odd, especially since it's not still leaking anything.

No dogs. We JUST got 27 inches of snow. I cleared out the driveway with the plow so it was a fresh slate, then started up the jeep and moved it and bam, green fluid.

The good news, at least im not having a brain fart. I almost didn't post this because i feel like an idiot. But.... its just not right!

Just checked the tractor.... no fluid there

Also went and triple checked the brakes on the jeep. Reservoir is where it should be and the pedal is nice and firm.

probly just a bunch of water that shot out of your exhaust. :dunno:

I did have the jeep running/idling for a good 15-20 minutes while i plowed the driveway. I guess it could just be a lot of buildup in there during that period. Running out of other options! :dunno:

We'll see when my sample melts. As long as its not oily i won't be too worried.

Unless it has been less than -15 degrees F for a sustained amount of time it's doubtful that it's freon. 134A's boiling point is -15F at atmospheric pressure.:dunno:
