That bedliner in the back looks slick as owl shit! I don't like that at all. I like where they are going but that front "facia" is just hideous. I like the idea of a Max & Al combo just not liking the little things about the truck. Also is it look like factory HIDs?

Oh, and the front is hideous. :puke:

It looks like a bastardized first-gen Escalade/Yukon.

I thought Ridgeline when I first saw it.

It's a stupid truck...GM doesn't need a JC Whitney special. They need to focus all of their time/money/effort on making the 1/2 tons continue their trend of the best 1/2 tons out there. I'm hoping for a gas version of their phenomenal exhaust brake and other innovative ideas that are practical and worth paying extra for.

They will have to develop a all new system. That engine brake uses the varaible geometry turbo to slow the truck.

The truck looks alright but they need to stop being the followers and be the leader in something, There truck "lifted" 3" is pretty close to the stock hight SD fords. Chevys have been to low since the early 90's IMO.

P.S. I hate how they call the Duramax a "General" engine. Its an Isuzu! Just like the powerstrokes before this year were international.

i like it a lot. they need to break up the solid silver piece in the front though, thats what looks ugly to me. an ugly plastic looking front skid plate. and the grill. the grill just doesnt tickle me where i'd like it too.

It's a computer rendering... everything looks "slick" :rollin:

There's a video, too, in Kevin's post.. Post 39 in this thread.. not of a rendering.

Edit:

Ummmmm... .that's not a real truck in that video. That's completely computer generated.... Or im really drunk...

You must be wasted then! :D

Seriously, they are interviewing the guy right next to the concept truck.

The concept truck exists AND runs. I saw it on Motorweek briefly. Apparently GM is testing the market in places to gauge public interest.

Disagree, GM bought Isuzu with the purpose of jump starting their diesel products. Therefore it IS a "General" engine.
