I have some of their cheap precision screwdrivers, T-Handled Allen Wrenches, Magnet Tray, Heat Gun and a few more things. Nothing that takes a lot of abuse, can't beat their prices for the handtools. The handtools have a lifetime warranty too

I've bought a lot of stuff from there, mostly hand tools and drill bits. My buddy bought one of their cheap 18V drills and it crapped out in less than a year. But it was the batteries that actually crapped out, not the drill. I've had good luck with their hand tools, but all the drill bits I buy from there either snap in half or get really dull really fast. I also buy a lot of rubber gloves and paintbrushes from there. They are so cheap I can throw them away instead of worrying about cleaning them when i'm done painting.

HF is absolutely full of stuff you never knew you needed until you see it on the shelf, and good deals on the stuff you had on your "someday" list.

True. I have walked through there and found some of the craziest stuff.

Guess where I just got back from?

Needed some long wire ties to put Christmas lights around the pillars on the front porch so I went to HF. Caught a good deal on the 11" and 24" ties. $1.99 each package. 10 each in the 24" packages, 100 in the 11" packages so I bought two packs of each.

Score.

Those are expensive in retail stores. I buy mine from a place called Altex Electronics here. They are quite reasonable.

Agreed. Whenever I go in there I leave with a bunch of stuff I did not know I needed. I live down the road from one and I get coupons in the mail all the time fro free gloves, rope and flash lights. I dont know what I will do with all the flash lights but they are free.

Forgot that stuff. I got a thing of 10 rolls of electrical tape for like 3 bucks and some good nitrile black gloves for 11 bucks (box of 100) and use them for everything. Also got sanding discs for the orbital sander

Most of my stuff is still from sears or kobalt but certain things I need in a pinch that if it brakes who cares I go straight there
