5w-20 Amsoil OE Motor Oil

Well like always when I'm curious about Motor oil or any fluids for my truck I talk to Nick (Black02Silverado). He and I were talking and I wanted to stay with the 5000 mile interval on my Oil Changes. So he suggested the new Amsoil OE Motor Oil. My truck takes the 5w-20 and I went with the Motorcraft Filter. 7 quarts and she's good to go. I want to send my next oil out for analysis.

Well I changed my oil last on July 12th Wow that's longer ago than I thought it was (I have a service log)

Why you ask?, Recently I've been putting more on than usual

7 quarts? I thought the 5.4 took 5.5?

Haynes Manual:

04-06 F150 V6 Engine: 6.0 quarts, V8 Engines: 4.6L 6.0 quarts, 5.4L 7.0 Quarts

I've been using 7 quarts since I bought it.

Awesome. .. ill be keeping an eye on this.

Both my Jeeps take 5w20 and I've always been on a 5k cycle and would love to save a few bucks with the OE oil..
