:fume: Well my truck started acting up again yesterday and today. :dunno: When i go to accelerate hard usually above 3500rpms the exhaust starts popping and the rpms hesitate. BUT not all the time just most lol i'll probably take a vid to show you guys. but i was wondering if maybe my trucks running lean from the CAI???? i know other older models had that problem. but it used to not do it so idk. i'm going to recheck and make sure the spark plug wires are tight tomorrow. It's at 52k and i'm pretty sure there original plugs and wires is that to long to keep them??
and no codes have been thrown i had them checked last time and no lights have came on

I'm probably going to just take it in this time because i'm tired of fighting with it.

CAI installed properly is before any airflow meter or sensors... It should not effect your rich/lean situation much if at all.

Hard to answer this one with no codes being set. What you describe certainly sounds like a fuel issue.

Yes these models can run lean with a larger intake w/o a tuner. But that shouldn't matter too much on your Roush CAI, that thing isn't a massive diameter or anything IIRC

I would check the fittings and all like mentioned above, then if that doesn't work we can take it to John over at Mytech automotive in town :dunno:
