Yeah, I know.
I bought the 4x4 because if I was going full-size, 4x4 only lost me 1mpg anyways and plus it took me 8 months to find it the way it is. I bought the 2wd S10 because I wanted my 5spd back and wanted a little better MPG for running to work and back. I don't see many 5spd 4x4 S10's around.

S-10s actually handle pretty good in the snow.
:werd:
My '94 S10 didn't have any problems at all in the snow. I'm actually surprised that I didn't get it stuck more than once. They have fairly narrow tires so they dig down into the snow pretty good rather than run on top like wider tires do. I think the tires are 205's. This year I'll be out to get this one stuck for the fun of it...of course on the weekend when I have nothing going on.

Are you butt hurt Matt? At least it'll last a little longer and you won't have to worry about somebody sliding into you on the nasty roads.
What do you mean by "butt hurt"? Yes, that is a good point about sliding.

You should see how sad my truck is sitting all alone in a RV/Boat Storage. It wouldnt fit into anything else
 How much does that cost you? Indoor or outdoor?

Sad to see. But your truck looks great in person and will for along time when you keep doing the storage thing each winter.
Indeed it is sad, but it will be worth it in the long run.

I forgot to mention that besides saving money on gas, I'm also saving big time on insurance. Instead of costing $95 every 6 months, I'll pay $0.20 for every month it is in storage. So if I have it stored >6 or <6 months, the other $95 bill will reflect it. I'm just glad my rates weren't going to change :D. Oh, and its so cheap because my mom is on the truck with only liability. With me on both trucks, I'd be paying $400/6mo; twice what I'm paying now.
Man you dont realise how easy you guys have it there for insurance... My truck costs right now $4800 a year to insure. (1 accident) Even without the accident its still about $4000 a year to insure.

Damn, I'm paying 600 a year for 2 vehicles, but only 1 has full coverage. I guess it pays to be old:lol:

It also pays to have different insurance companies to choose from because they have others to compete with. In BC Canada its government owned, no competition so they can charge however much they want which is why we pay out the ass here.

Live up here for one winter. Drive a nice truck in the winter, and then you'll see why we park them.
