i have a set. just havent got them on yet still but theyll be on in a week or two, i upped my load capacity by switching to supercrew leafs from my yr with an extra leaf and bigger stock overload

Since we're on "helper" devices, how long do airbags last?

I'm debating whether to go 3/4 or 1 ton springs VS 1/2 ton w/bags.

I'm debating whether to go 3/4 or 1 ton springs VS 1/2 ton w/bags.

Forever, unless punctured by some thing big and heavy.

I have one truck with 260K on them.

i went with springs since they were cheap and the only thing i want them for is so my bed doesnt sag as horribly as it did when loading stuff for moving or tailgate since its leveled. so didnt need air but i do plan to add on board air soon :thumbs:

Wow! I guess for the extra money, I might as well keep my ride quality. (like $400 for 1ton leafs VS $600 for bags & compressor + $270 for 1/2 ton leafs)

I have yet to do a compressor. I have done dual lines to every truck, and just adjusted as needed. Really isnt that much of a hassle, and a big savings.
