120 is a good number for hub bearings depending on what you put them through, it's all subjective.

That is a good thread, and if you plan on keepin the truck I would go for the hub bearings.

Have the rotors mic'd, if they are turnable go for it, rotors arent that expensive online however.

I would blast the caliper unless there is a genuine issue with that one side in question, if the piston is hanging, dump it for a new or ReMan

sounds good, the hub bearings are priced what seems like reasonable, 2 for 170, shipping is biting me in the ass, but thats normal. yea i even just found a front set of brembo for 253. and there i was talking economical...ha!

A good friend of mine just had everything you've mentioned replaced, with a few extras thrown in. I think it wound up costing him $1500 for mat/lab.

checked in with a local midas shop, they can turn the front rotors for 165. didn't mention having them off the truck already, but that seems to be the route i'm goin to take. if the GF rogers up some $$ for new brakes, its a safety issue, she supports safety.....then i might spring for new calipers and rotors, from www.buybrakes.com before shipping 560

Cool, sucks about the shipping there. Worse than when I lived in Alaska.

yea, sometimes its a real pain in the butt. sometimes gotta ship it to my bro in the mainland first, then he has to forward it on to me....this time it took him, ehh, 3 months. ha!

this thread is pretty much dead, but just to finish it off. finally got my hub bearings installed, didn't do it myself though....to lazy + no time = $480, got the rotors turned also. the horrible clonking noise is gone and brakes feel good. maybe later this week, i'll actually replace those spark plugs and finsh my exhaust set up.....maybe.
