Dont have chains on mine either, why does yours HAVE chains?![]()
We bought it in my old home town... Where we actually get winter

The chains make a HUGE difference on ice when pushing a couple feet of heavy snow.

I have chains but never put them on, makes it bouncy and it ends up doing a crappy job so I have to shovel a thin layer off the driveway.
This year I'm thinking about using my neighbors method, she just drives her car up and down the driveway until it's all packed smooth. A heater and a radio while clearing snow, what a novel idea.

My truck doesn't fit in the garage anyway, too many toys. Only reason I don't do that is in case anything were to happen to me I know how bad it sucks to wheel the ambulance cot up unshoveled driveways.
Snow blower is pretty small but packs quite a punch. Couple years ago we had about 8 inches of snow followed by a day of freezing rain which left us with 8 inches of ice. When my neighbors PTO driven snow blower kept clogging he came over and borrowed mine to finish the job. Has the same motor as my buddies but his is about twice the size, really keeps the auger spinning.

Then I did my jobThis thread was seriously misleading when i clicked on it.![]()
