I won't agree with batman but I will say the same thing he said.
They need to follow the Challenger route, not the GTO route.

The 454 is NOT a big block. It is achieved from the Small block LSX block. You can even get a tall deck LSX small block and get really crazy with the cubic inches.Yeah, it would be REALLY hard to fit a big block into today's cars.I doudt they will put the 454 in the car if they bring it back but it would be sweet!!
the old 454 too?

What a Camaro should have looked like!!
I couldn't agree more.
It even looks 800 pounds lighter!
That last picture looks nice but I don't see them bringing out another new car that similar to the camaro.
I know the purists will hate me for saying this but the only way I see it happening is if they get out the G8 model and slap a few bowties on it. Again, that would piss the purists off but I still think it would be a home run and I would buy one.
They won't do it as the LSX is a race/high-end street rod only application. It would step on corvette toes.E=CJ Hungus;466678]The 454 is NOT a big block. You are correct that you can "build" a 454 from the LSX small block but a GM 454 IS a Big Block. You can special order from GM performance parts an LSX based 454. I know of nothing that it's even been in for production based vehicles.
If not familure with the Big Block 454 is also the same size as the GM 502 and 572 crate engines. Old school stuff but grunts to say the least!!
