Undecided on new or used yet. But leaning more new. I want something with less than 50,000K on it and good in snow on the interstate for traveling back and forth to school. Which is 30min-45min drive one way.

I'm not familiar with your area.. "Good in snow"..? Are we talking paved (maintained) streets or back roads, a few inches or a foot or more?

My knee-jerk reaction re: one of the vehicles you mentioned would be.. "Camaro.. probably not the best vehicle to get if you want 'good in snow'."

The V6 Camero gets a lot better MPG, but there are probably better choices out there..

Kris mentioned Subarus.. The Legacy (sedan) w/ the base 4-banger gets low 20's in town, low 30's on the road.. They have full-time AWD, too, so they should be good in snow..

My hubby was in Maryland last winter. He had an HHR rental (work related) and it did great in the snow and such. And it got pretty good MPG.
