I've had my 5000k 35w DDM Tunning Slim HID's (9006 lows, H10 fogs) for a few months now, finally got around to installing them tonight.
The instructions that came with the lights were confusing, so I somewhat followed their online instructions instead.
Plugged the first one in and NOTHING, then I started checking ballasts and bulbs, still nothing. Then read on their troubleshooting site, found the #1 FAQ: Reverse Polarity. My Sierra is one that has the (+) & (-) backwards into the ballast, just switched the clip around and secured it with a zip-tie and BINGO, we have lights!
Ballast mounted right next to the high-beam side of the right headlight (the following 2 pictures were taken before I found out I have reversed polarity, and shows the connector going into the ballast backwards):
Right headlight only:
Ballast mounted right next to the high-beam side of the left headlight:
Ballast mounted just above right fog light:
Ballast mounted just above left fog light:
All headlights & fog lights installed (gonna get a better picture some other night, just finished my installs just after midnight, but had to post my pics):
