GMT900 Wiper Blades?

My OEM blades have been great... but the truck only has 14K on the clock and sits in the garage all the time. That and we have had almost ZERO rain in the last two years. Are the PIAA blades a direct fit?

If it sits inside the garage and doesn't see much sun then I would figure that they are still in great shape. It is the sun that kills them more than anything.

AMSOIL sells the TRICO NeoForm Beam Wiper Blades. I got a set to replace the OEM on our 08 Acadia and they fit just fine. I put a set on the 02 Silverado and they seem to do well. Not to great in heavy snow though. Found that our this past Feb up in Pa visiting my parents.

Well when it does snow in LA and TX, it isnt heavy, so I guess they would be perfectly fine here.

Yeah un huh, remember a few years ago, we got like ten inches of snow.

I still have not replaced mine. With the Rain-X windshield cleaner I hardly ever use mine.

I bought a set of Napa winter blades for this past winter. They are awesome! They work excellent with a light sprinkle and take off all the slushy shit we get in the winter just as well.

Its getting to be that time of year when good wiper blades are a must around here. I haven't replaced mine since I bought the truck in July '08 but its mostly a garage queen. I'm going to throw a new set on before winter anyway though. I'm leaning towards Bosch. Those of you running Bosch, are you still happy with them? Anything else new come out since this thread to look at?

I have Trico's beam blades now. They are okay so far.

To update since Matt bumped this, they have woked okay so far, but I would like to hear about the others. The outer edge has not been contacting the wndshield on these.

I still have my Napa blades, which IIRC are made by Trico. I still think they work well, but not as well at higher speeds. Seems like if you're going much over 50 or 60 mph they don't make good contact with the glass.

Still a helluva lot better than the OEM blades.

At the time, they did not make them for our trucks. I agree, they work great, and I run them on my Tahoe. They may be out for the 900, now.

I'll check out the Rain X Latitudes also then. I had the Tricos on my last truck. They worked well but skipped a little at highway speeds. I really want a blade that keeps good contact when going down the interstate.
