I do... my best tank was over 24 and my worst was 15 pulling over 10k lbs... but that's granny pulling which you shoud do for equipment safety. If I try to drive it like I stole it with a lot of weight I can get 13..

Wow. I wish I could get 24 :(.
Do you off-set the extra cost of diesel VS the 8.1 running gas (not even sure if that was available)?

Yeah I don't think that the 8.1 is available but in comparison to the fuel mileage it got i'd hells yeah no doubt about it...

You really can't compare or offset cost between gas and diesel because the price of a diesel is match for match on the gas with life logevity that you can expect from a diesel, imo...

But we will see how this one goes... its got 60k on it with no real problems to date. If it can do that for another 140k I would be elated...

My next truck will be a diesel...

It's recommended... But not required.
It probably has the same computer software as the Camaro 6.2, They've got different fuel tables for regular and premium.

You betcha
The DIC (tehehe) is telling me 14.3mpg with a lightfoot at 55mph, and 11-12 when I romp on it. gas station fillup confirms around 12-13 combined right now...:drinking:
