That's cool but the idea that full sized pickups can ever be really serious offroaders is not very realistic. A stock Wrangler can go a thousand more places than a modified huge truck.

True, but I've got a buddy with a 98 Dodge 2500 QC and some of the places he has taken it would put a lot of Jeepers to shame. Solid Axles + Tall/Aggressive Tires + Ground Clearance will get you a lot of places.

I do see some pretty stupid driving/rescue maneuvers in the video though, it is a wonder some of these guys haven't gotten hurt.

Oh you CAN build them right for sure. I'm talking about the guys that buy one. add some wheels and tires, and think they are instant mountain goats. It's funny to watch them get stuck or high centered very early in on a trail run.

I'll stick with Jeeps.
