That's kind of like comparing apples to banana's. GM should make a Camaro that will keep up with the Mustang, Mustang vs Corvette is a silly comparison.

The corvette has been in its own class for years. The mustang is an all around factory muscle car designed to keep the masses happy, thats why it has the solid axle rear end and is heavier because of all the comfort options it has. The corvette is not designed to please everyone, just those that want to step up in category.

That is sort of the entry level Corvette. It did quite well against a tuner version of that Stang. Both are very nice performance vehicles pointed at folks who want top shelf performance.

Bet the mustang would win if they tested with a family of 4 . Both are nice cars but they're completely different classes, maybe next they can compare the silverado to the ranger.
