Ford needs to bring back the Ford GT to compete with the corvette.... that was a mildly upgraded base corvette vs the top of the line Mustang and the vette still beat it.

Not really a big surprise to anyone is it??? Mustangs aren't built to compete against Corvettes.

Chevrolet's got a beast in the Corvette. Although I've never cared too much for modern Chevrolet cars, I've always respected and liked the Corvette. It's simply an awesome vehicle that screams American performance...hats off to Chevy.

Ford came out with the Mustang in 65 to replace the Falcon, not to compete with the Corvette.
Chevrolet came out with the Camaro in 67 to compete with the Mustang.
I don't know why people want to compare it to the Corvette.

That's kind of like comparing apples to banana's. GM should make a Camaro that will keep up with the Mustang, Mustang vs Corvette is a silly comparison.
