New toys coming in

My passenger side speaker has been out for a while now. I had diagnosed it a while back and discovered the crossover was bad. Been really busy so I never got around to playing with it---just bit it and went with one speaker. Funny thing is that no one could tell I was only playing one speaker.

Anyways...decided it was time to fix it......so I bought new ones.


6.5" Alpine Type R components are what I'm replacing. Will be putting in Image Dynamics CTX65CS 6.5" components. Rated about the same, but have read better reviews.

I may go pick up a dremel and get creative with the tweeter location this time.

Cool, I have been thinking of adding a second speaker in the stock door location, but dont want to run an amp for it, thats the only thing that has been slowing me down...
