Sometime soon there will be additional graphics added to the truck sides and back, designating it as a unit of the "Stafford County Emergency Communications Team", as well as emblems for ARES (Amateur Radio Emergency Service) and RACES (Radio Amateur Civil Emergency Service (which is part of the Civil Defense and Homeland Security structure))

That will probably include "EMERGENCY COMMUNICATIONS" being added to both sides of the box in 6" high red reflective vinyl

Actually, I've been planning on removing the DOT tape on the sides and re-doing it so it looks better. What's on there now was added the first winter I owned the truck and discovered it's damn near impossible to see in snow.

On the wish list, but only for the four corner strobes on the top of the roof. They interfere with the radios now, and aren't very bright, so they need to be replaced with something that's brighter and won't affect the radios. LED's are good for that. The rear and side strobes should also be replaced with LED's, but they're well shielded so they don't affect the radios at all so they can stay for now. The main thing is the cost of replacing them. Replacing the four on top will cost me about $650, to do the big ones on the rear and sides would cost about $200 each.

The beacons I prefer to be regular bulbs, because LED lightbars aren't very noticeable in daylight, especially in amber, while the ones on there now show up well in all levels of light.

It's just a BEAST! I agree that some wheels (or simulators) would look cool. Can you have tint there? With all of those lights, I bet it looks like the SWAT team is rolling up at night!

Remind me one of these days to shoot some video of it lit up at night. I've got a crappy little digital camera that does half-assed video, but it'll give some idea of what it looks like.

I love work trucks. how about some chrome factory silverado center caps, (they are all over ebay) paint the wheels black, or silver and some trim rings?
You could intergrate the tape a little better. (maybe use all white?) and place it closer to the edges of the body, and curve, or round the edges of the tape. put the "fire extinguisher inside" sticker inside the body line, or on the utility body?
