After all these year's, finally!!!!

I have been battling the absolute, worst water spot's on my window's you have ever laid your eye's on, and I know, everyone is going to say, try this, or try that...believe me, I have tried everything, and anything, you could ever buy, at the auto parts store.
I finally had reached the end...so I haul ass down to the local Ford dealership, whip around back, before the flock of salesmen could block my escape route, went right up to the detail shop, blocking the door, jumped out, and asked the question, WTF do you guys use??? The answer may shock you, the young man said "Acid", I'm like what! They use a diluted 10/1 acid, water mix, and steel wool, #0000....so I went to Ace Hardware, bought the steel wool, couldn't find the right acid, so I bought an automotive window polish...so after some moderate elbow grease......

And after...I'm happy as a pig in mud, this has been an on going battle for years, and I finally have success!!!

you can actually use a smooth clay bar on your windows but you would have to polish them. Glad to see you found a way to get your water spots of your windows

Greg, it's the same acid, I use at work to etch aluminum, I can't remember what the name of it is....but they also use it on the paint, with a rag!!!!
But, the #0000 steel wool, and window polish, (for lubrication), worked great!

I have the same problem on my windows. i may try this

at work we just use car polish and a buffer to remove the window haze. so i think it would work for water spots.

Yep, tried that too, didn't touch these water spots....

well i guess ill keep this in mind if we have one with bad water spots.
