That sucks...It could be worse.

I had that happen to me. Tire took out the inner fender. Low and behold, the wiring harness was behind it. Who designed this crap, a foot of wiring had to pass in the wheel well.

The tire shredded 3/4 of the wire. It took almost 2-3 days of soldering to get everything back together.

Thanks for the link. I had actually forgotten how to read those codes. The one thing that worried me about this tire was its unknown age and I do not know how long it had been sitting in the sun before I got it. This just gos to prove nothing is free.

This is a really bad time for me to take on this kind of reapir. Even though it looks as though I have all the parts already we cannot afford any down time with her truck.

Been there....

If you can, temporary tie up things to where you can use the vehicle. As long as the airfilter is intact, you can still run it with a broken box.

Later, you can start on the repairs. If it isn't that bad, you should be able to work one late night and have her ready for the next day.

We made some sacrifices and got her four NEW tires today. A shop in town was having a buy three get one free deal. We even got it aligned at the same time. Now I just have to address the reapirs.
