The older Pontiac's were sleepers, some of the Tempest were mean muther f******....

My dad had a '65 Tempest 2+2. I remember that thing would scream.

Nah, I don't think so. Not without a PCV port.

The pcv and breather ports are different in size? I thought there the same.

They might be, but the breather port is usually recessed, while the PCV port is raised. You only have a recessed port, which tells me it's for a breather, and no second port for the PCV, which tells me the covers are for a motor without a PCV (pre-68) but with a breather (generally after 1950 - though some had 'em earlier)

Just clean em up and make sure you post a picture of em when you list them. Any gearhead looking for a set will know whether they are the ones he needs or not.

Probably mid 60's to late 70's.
