Would you buy used headers?

ya i remember a guy that bought short headers for his nnbs and had to gut his cats because he had no sound difference whats so ever.

hey dan do you remember the youtube video from the guy from ohio on fsc? he has a vid of before/after i think with his corsa exhaust.

ya i wouldnt do that, if it was illegal to not run cats id just get some hi flow ones and LT's which i might do down the road anyway. not even a y-pipe since with a lift id have to modify it because of the diff drop if i recall. true duals ftw anyway.

It's not the legal part. Cats are expensive. Why punch it out? At least cut it out and clamp or weld in a bypass pipe. The sale of the cats would cover the cost, plus some beer.

His vids are actually the reason why I was interested in possibly getting headers. I've been planning on getting the Corsa Sport exhaust eventually. I think it sounds good in his vids but yall say shortys don't add much sound difference so :dunno:

ya thats the guy i was gona buy his gibson exhaust before i learned they were prone to rotting out.

If you are wanting performance gains, go with LTs. I don't think there is any problem with buying used headers, just be sure the previous owner took good care of them.

At our ages, it's really hard to find a new header. They've all given a few by now. I say go for it. :D
